Nigeria Govt Seals Chinese Restaurant
The federal government of Nigerian has sealed Chinese restaurant, Haufei restaurant and mall at 33 Aboyade Cole, Victoria Island, Lagos State.
The federal government sealed the Chinese restaurant for refusing to serve Nigerians who visited the restaurant.
Disclosing this, the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, tweeted on Saturday saying the staff of the restaurant admitted that it was the business policy of the owners not to serve Nigerians.
The statement further added the FCCPC closed Haufei restaurant and Mall 33 Aboyade Cole, VI based on what the commission described as credible intelligence and surveillance that the business decline service to Nigerians.
The commission added further that the staff of the restaurant admitted to this practice and the operative of the commission experienced the same practice when visited the business outfit.
As at the time of filing the report, it was known how long the federal government will seal the restaurant and what their penalty will be.
