Coronavirus Hits Abuja As Three Cases Confirm

At least three persons have been tested positive of the deadly coronavirus in the Nigeria's capital, Abuja.


This was contained in an exclusive report by The PUNCH on Saturday as the world currently struggles to fight the pandemic which has continued to pose challenges to the human race.

According to the report, the index is an official of Federal Inland Revenue Service, adding that the patient was one of the passengers on the Biritiah Airways' flight that landed on March 13.

The report further added that tow other cases of the Coronavirus have also been confirmed, revealing that the three patients have seen been moved to University of Abuja Teaching Hospital.

This is coming as the Federal Government of Nigeria said the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, and the Nnmadi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja will be shut down on Monday as the cases of Coronavirus in the country rises to 22.

Recall that many states in Nigeria including Lagos, Kogi, Kwara, Nasawara amongst others have given order to shutdown schools in the states on Monday and ban gathering that is above 50 people.
