PDP Finally Suspends Former Kogi Governor's Son, Abubakar Idris
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has finally suspended the son of former governor of Kogi State, Abubakar Idris for what the party described as antiparty activities.
The suspension of Abubakar was contained in a letter which was signed by Ward chairman of Icheke, Sunday Idakwoji on Saturday.
In the copy of the letter made available to Press in Lokoja, PDP said it has become pertinent to suspend the son of the former governor Ibrahim Idris who was a governorship candidate in the last governorship election, adding that the allegation against Abubakar was weighty.
According to the letter, Abubakar is suspended by PDP for a period of one month to allow Justice and fairness to play in the matter.
Recall that Abubakar Idris was a governorship candidate in the last governorship election in Kogi State who was the first runner up in PDP governorship Primaries and subsequently challenged the outcome of the Primary that produce Musa Wada which later resulted to the nullifying of the PDP governorship Primaries by Lokoja High Court.
