Kogi Civil Servants Beg Gov Yahaya Bello To Extend Loan Repayment

Kogi State Civil Servants have begged governor Yahaya Bello to extend the three months repayment for all tradersmoni, marketmoni and farmersmoni given to them by Federal Government.



The civil servants who are state workers said it would be difficult for them to start the repayment when they are currently servicing loans with the state government loan guaranteed Cooperative and Thrift societies.

The civil servants who disclosed this to journalists in the state capital, Lokoja, said giving repayment moratorium to the civil servants who are on loan with State Cooperative Societies will be of help to them especially in this period of Coronavirus.

According to them, after paying the state loan every month, most of them are always left with ten thousand naira which they said will make it difficult to start paying the federal government
loan at the same time.

The workers plea came as a result of the hardship created by the coronavirus pademic which currently restrict workers and every other persons at home.
