Gov Bello Gives Reason For Calling Back Sacked LG Administrators
Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello has explained the reason he brought back sacked local government Administrators as Special Adversiers on the security to handle security issues in their respective local government.
Bello said he acknowledged that the criminal elements had held sway in different parts of the state, the reason he said he reappointed the sacked local government Administrators as the new security aides to beef up the security situation in the state.
Bello stressed that there is no room for criminals in Kogi adding that he will deal with any members of his party causing threat to the security and governance of the state. The governor noted that his administration wants to bring crime rate to zero level in Kogi State.
The governor however, instructed the Senior Special Assistant to deal with security situations in their respective local government and report any issue to the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs.
Recall that the governor had sacked the local government Administrators on March 03 ahead of the local government election slated for April.
The sacked local government Administrators who are now SSA on security to the governor has also declared their intention to run for the chairman of their respective local government after ruling as appointed local government Administrators for four years.
