Covid-19: UBA Handover N28.5m To Kogi State Govt
The United Bank for Aftica has donated the sum of N28.5 million to Kogi State Government as her contribution towards the state’s efforts against the spread of the deadly Coronavirus disease.
A statement by the state commissioner for Information and Communication, Evangelist Kingsley Fanwo said the donation was received on behalf of the State Government by the Deputy Governor and Chairman of the Kogi Covid-19 Squadron Committee, Chief Edward Onoja.
He thanked UBA for supporting the State Government at this trying period, urging other corporate organizations to emulate the good gesture of UBA. He also assured of prompt and judicious utilization of the fund for target purpose.
The presentation ceremony was witnessed by top government officials and management staff of the UBA.
