The House of Representatives Ad hoc Committee investigating the alleged $17 billion stolen undeclared oil proceed has summoned Mr Ibrahim Magu, acting Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), thebGroup Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr Maikanti Baru; and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele were to appear before it on Tuesday.

Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI) report on the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and its subsidiaries has shown that $22 billion is yet to be remitted to the treasury by the oil giant and persuades the government to recover the loot.
