Gov Bello Goes After Former Political Appointees To Retrieve Official Vehicles
Kogi State governor has gone hard on the former political appointees in the state, as he go after them to retrieve all official cars in their possession.
The governor who gave the directive on Thursday, orderer the immediate political appointees to submit all official vehicles in their possession to avoid any possible embarrassment.
The directive which was contained in a press statement by the Secretary to the state government, Ayoade Folashade Arike, stated that the Kogi State government is annoyed at the fragrance disobedient of an earlier directive given to the former political appointees.
The statement further added that any further disobedient of the directive will result to dire consequent.
The move has been described by Pundits as a further demonstration of the governor's readiness to face the business governance and deal with anybody who flaunt the rules no matter their closeness or relationship with him.
Recall that Yahaya Bello was earlier criticized in his first tenure for using millions of naira to purchase official vehicles for his appointees when the state was battling to pay workers salsries.
