Breaking: Kogi Govt Dissolves Local Government Administrators
The Kogi State Governor, Alh Yahaya Bello has dissolved the Administrators of the local government councils in the state.
The former council bosses were directed to hand over to the most senior officers in their offices.
This development is in preparation towards the local government council election scheduled to hold in few months time.
Recall that upon coming to office, Gov Bello on May 6th, 2016 inaugurated caretaker committees for the 21 local government areas, headed by the Administrators.
Although some of the Administrators were removed and replaced, those who were fortunate have lasted for over 3 years on seat.
With this dissolution comes full fledged campaigns as the dissolved Administrators are hellbent on returning through the elections.
