Community Service: Natasha Repairs Faulty Transformer, Ends Oboroke Blackout
In her continuous quest to give back to the society, the candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP) for Kogi Central senatorial district, Barr. Natasha Akpoti has fixed the faulty electrical transformer in Oboroke commnunity.
Recalled that, Utohujova, Ebako, Udioyivo and Okumehi areas of Oboroke, Ihima in Okehi local government have been in total blackout in the last seven days due to a faulty transformer that connects these areas.
The prompt intervention of the SDP senatorial candidate to fund the repair of the transformer after the community leaders reached out to her restored electricity in the populated areas of Ihima.
Appreciating Natasha for her continual show of love for her people, the youth leader of the area, Idowu Adeiza described Natasha as a good ambassador of the land whose name shall ever reign.
His words, "She has demonstrated the true essence of a leader. God will continue to guide her and protect her for us.
"Our people have been out of electricity supply for the past seven days and nobody to assist us. Immediately I called her personal assistant to tender our plight to him, he got back to me and told me that his boss has taken it up. In the evening, they came surprisingly to fix the transformer for us and now our people are enjoying light and sending their prayers to Barr Natasha Akpoti.
"On behalf of the youths and my people, we pledge our support for her in all that she is doing to make the society a better place.
"I want to equally thank our brother and son, Hamza Lamisi for conveying our message to her and ensuring a proper feedback", Adeiza said.
