Corona virus: Kogi People Call For Gov Yahaya Bello's Quarantine After Abba Kyari Tested Positive
The people of Kogi State have taken to social media to call for governor Yahaya Bello and some members of his cabinet crew that received the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, few days ago in Kogi State to be quarantined after Abba Kyaris tested positive of coronavirus.
The Chief of Staff to the President tested positive to the deadly virus few days after he visited governor Yahaya Bello in his Okene residence for condolence visit after the governor lost his mother, Hajia Hauwau Bello.
This has raised concern amongst Kogi people as Abba Kyari was seen with the governor and other appointees of the governor before being tested positive of coronavirus.
Receiving the news of Abba Kyari, the former Vice President and PDP presidential candidate in the last general election, Atiku Abubakar has prayed for his quick recovery from the deadly virus.
As at the time of filing the report, there is no official information from the government of Kogi State to know whether the governor will go on self isolation or trace his cabinet crew and his close associates that received Abba Kyari in his Okene residence few days ago.
