Worker's Day: Asuku salutes workers resilience, commitment

Aspirant vying to represent the people of Adavi constituency in the state House of Assembly, under the platform All Progressives Congress (APC), Ishaq Asuku Ilyas, has felicitated with workers on the celebration of this year’s Workers’ Day as he saluted their resilience and commitment in both private and public sectors.



In his solidarity message marking the occasion signed by his media Consultant, Mujahid Aliyu Abubakar Adeiza, Asuku urged workers to remain steadfast and be committed in the collective resolve to build a strong and virile nation of peace and abundance as “workers are the engine room of a nation’s economy and a veritable factor in the enhancement of national growth”.

“In spite of the challenges in the economic sector, workers have exhibited a commendable degree of patriotism and consistence in the onerous task of nation building with the belief that both the employees and employers of labour are partners in progress”, he stated.

He then praised the the resourcefulness and sense of patriotism of Kogi State workers as he described them as a pivotal factor in the landmark achievements recorded by the new direction Administration of kogi state Governor, Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello in the past three years.

He also commended the leadership of Kogi State Chapter of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) for maintaining harmonious relationship with the present administration which has been taking giant strides in rebuilding the State and make her one of the most viable economies in the nation.
