State Congress : Ishaq Asuku Lauds Peaceful Conduct -Mujahid Aliyu Abubakar
The foremost aspirant for the state House of Assembly,Adavi Constituency, has lauded the members of the All progressive congress(APC) for the peaceful conduct of the State congress. He lauded the party faithfuls for displaying high level of maturity and decorum in the conduct of the party activities.
He described the turnout of party members from across the length and breath of Kogi State as a testimony that the APC in Kogi state has come to stay and have become one Indivisible party that will continue to waxstronger, thanking them for their orderliness and peaceful conduct.
He noted that APC is one and as one big entity there is a need to keep the APC family intact without unduly subjecting it to interferences and other forms of intimidation and for this reason he thanked the state chief Executive Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for the statesmanship displayed by him by allowing the congress to hold without undue pressure and party faithfuls voted peacefully for their choices, the fair play exhibited has never been seen before in party politics in Kogi State, and were lucky that Governor Bello believes that it is God who gives power and has allowed the will of the people to prevail and he is sure that with this success achieved at the state congress it will further spread the wings of the APC as those outside the party will see the APC as a party of fairness and equity.
He thanked all the members that participated at the congress and congratulated all the elected executives most especially the new chairman of the party in Kogi State, Hon Abdullahi Bello, adding that his records speak for him and he is sure that he will deliver on the mandate given to him as chairman of the party. "Change has indeed come to stay", he opined.
