Okehi Police Command Arrest Six-man gang Terrorising Eika Ohizenyi
Okehi police command, Sunday, paraded six-man gang terrorising the people of Eika Ohizenyi in Okehi LGA of Kogi State.
The six-man gang is known for their nefarious activities in the area and had robbed people of their belongings in Eika Ohizenyi few days ago.
Five members of the gang were arrested by the security operatives while a search team has been set to arrest the one member at large.
The Administrator of the local government, Hon. Abdulraheem Ohiare, in his speech as he visited the Area Command Headquarters yesterday commended the security officials for securing the lives and properties of the people of the area, adding that their efforts in apprehending the criminals who constitute nuisance and menace to the society will further reaffirm the people's trust on the security.
Comending the society for giving the security agents the needed cooperation, he urged them to continue in such capacity as it would engender a sustained peace and development.
He however, admonished parents to caution their erring wards as the law enforcement agencies won't take it lightly with anyone caught in the act of breaking the law.
"We shall continue to prioritize the security of lives and property in Okehi LGA and environs in consolidation with governor Bello led New Direction Blueprint", he said.
