Asuku Attends Okehi LG Administrator's 2 years of Purposeful Stewardship in Office
Aspriant vying to rrprresnt the people of Adavi constituency at the state House of Assembly in 2019, Ishaq Asuku iliyas, on Wednesday attended the two years celebration in office of Okehi Local Administrator, Hon. Abdulraheem Ohiare, describing him as a man of excellence and compassion.
According to him, the Administrator's stay in office is a blessing to the people adding that he has brought leadership to the doorstop of the people at the grassroot. He congratulated him for his achievements so far, most especially in human capital development explaining that he is truly flying the new direction flag high in okehi local government.
"In the past two years Abdulkareeem Ohiare has recorded giant strides that have left no one in doubt that he is no stranger in matters of governance.
"Hon Ohiare and his hardworking team have visible impact in all the nooks and cranny of the local government.
"The people of Okehi have seen and felt the presence of the new direction government, in areas of Infrastructure development, education, security and women empowerment, to mention but a few.
"These remarkable achievements are coming at a time Kogi is been led by the pragmatic governor, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello", he said.
Asuku saluted the courage of governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for giving young people like Hon. Abdulkareem Ohiare a chance to show that the youths are not the leaders of tomorrow but of today, as we look forward to see Kogi state rise in the ranks of committee of great states in Nigeria and become the economic hub of the north central region.
The aspriant thereafter used the medium to appeal to other appointees to emulate Hon. Ohiare in the quest to bring good governance closer to the people, declaring that he is ready to give himself up for service to Adavi constituency in the state house of assembly.
Shortly after the programme, he attended the naming ceremony of child of one of his business associates, Mallam Musa Ohize, Director Musa Frozen Food at Lafia street okene.
