Okehi holds APC Ward congress, sustains peace
The relative peace in Okehi Local Government Area was sustained yesterday as the council Okehi held Ward congress without any report of violence.
Speaking to journalists at the council secretariat, the Administrator of the local government, Hon. Abdulraheem Ohiare, said he expressed his joy that the party congress went on peacefully and successfully across the various Wards, courtesy of the love and unity demonstrated by the New Direction Leadership in Okehi LGA.
While appreciating governor Yahaya Bello, the council boss said the governor provided the enabling atmosphere at which the already established relationship was sustained.
