Against all predictions to the contrary, he has made history, as the first minority to win a governorship election in the state, back-to-back. Yahaya Bello not only secured a landslide block votes from all five councils in his Kogi Central base, he also won majority of the votes in Kogi West, leading in five of the seven councils.
