Adavi LG Administrator Unveils Relief Materials for Victims of Rainstorm

The Administrator of Adavi Local Goverment Area, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami on Friday flagged off the distributions of relief items to the victims  of rainstorm in adavi LGA.



Speaking at the ceremony, the council boss said the materials were meant to ameliorate the suffering of the victim's urgent needs. Thus, he further sympathized with the affected victims and advised them to make judicious use of the relief materials given to them just to cushion the effect of their untold hardship.

He commended the state government led by his excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello for his quick responses in giving relief materials to palliate the suffering of the victims  despite the financial meltdown in the country.

He reminded the victims to double their faith in God and pray for the success of governor Yahaya Adoza Bello's Administration in Kogi  state adding that he has drawn a template for the development of the dear state.

Speaking earlier, the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Ozizi .I. Araga appreciated the gesture of the state government in giving urgent attention to the affected victims.

He praised the resilience and understanding displayed by the victims. He therefore, advised the beneficiaries to give unflinching support  the government at state and local  government levels in order to enjoy more  dividends of democracy.

In a vote of thanks offered by the Chief of Staff to the local government, Hon. Muhammed  Ochenika Musa, he expressed his happiness to the state government for this onus responsibility of donating relief items to the victims in order to meet their immediate needs.

He lauded his boss as a well grounded grassroot politician who always make the welfares of his subjects a priority,  encouraging everyone to obtain their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to enable them vote for his President Muhammadu Buhari and governor Yahaya Adoza Bello in the forthcoming general elections.
