Traditional Ruler Beaten By Emir Of Iwo Finally Speaks Out
The traditional ruler, Oba Sikirulahi Akinropo, Agbowu of Ogbagbaa, who was allegedly beaten by the Emir of Iwo, Abdulrasheed Akanbi on Friday has finally spoken out on what transpired.
Oba Sikirulahi Akinropo who was alleged attacked by Emir of Iwo, Abdulrasheed Akanbi in Osugbo on Friday said, they went to a peace meeting called by the Assistant Inspector General of Police in Osogbo and some state government and local government officials to resolve the allegations against them by the Emir of Iwo that they are selling Iwoland.
Oba Akinropo explained that the meeting was going on when Emir Akanbi said attacked him and began to punch him and said he obstructed him when he was talking.
Oba Akinropo explained that he didnt retaliate because of peace, adding that it was the AIG that came to his rescue and pushed him away from him.

In 2018 had taken the title of Emir of Iwo, a town in Yoruba land of Osun State instead of Oluwo of Iwo.
