Nigeria Set to Receive Another $321m Abacha Loot From US As AGF Travels For Agreement
Nigeria is set to receive another $321m Abacha loot as Federal Government will this week sign tripartite pact with United States of America and Island of New Jersey to receive the loot of the late Military Head of State.
This was contained in statement on Sunday by the spokesperson of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of of Justice, Abubabakksr Malami (SAN), Dr. Umar Gwandu, said the minister will this week sign the agreement on behalf of the Federal Government in Washington DC.
Gwandu disclosed that Malami had departed Nigeria on Sunday to attend a three-day meeting of the United States-Nigeria-Bi-national Commission in Washignton DC, adding that the signing of the pact will take place during the meeting.
According to him, the meeting was an annual event between Nigeria and the US with the purpose of reviewing the two countries bilateral relationship and to also take steps to promote mutual interest in all diplomatic areas.
