Dino Melaye Wins Criminal Case Against Him By Federal Govt
Former Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial district, Dino Melaye has won a criminal case against him by the federal of Nigeria which was instituted by the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Edward Onoja.
Dino Melaye won the case on Tuesday morning in a judgment delivered by Justice Goodluck of Court 4 FCT High Court who struck out the criminal case for lack of diligent prosecution and thereby discharged Dino Melaye of the criminal case.
The federal government of Nigeria
had in a case titled Federal Republic of Nigeria v Senator Dino Melaye arraigned Senator Dino Melaye before FCT High Court in Maitama for providing false information about an assassination attempt on his life to the police in April 2017
after the Chief of State to Governor Yahaya Bello, Edward Onoja who is now the Deputy Governor of Kogi State instituted the case and filed by the Attorney General of the Federation, AGF, Abubakar Malami.

before Justice Olasumbo Goodluck for falsely incriminating
Edward Onoja, on two clunts of giving false information to the police about his assassination attempt on his life in April 2017.
To celebrate his victory, Dino Melaye took to his twitter handle to announce his victory against the federal government of Nigeria and appreciated God for the victory and the good people of Nigeria for the support and prayers.
