Bandits Are Our Main Threat In Nigeria Not Coronavirus- Hon. Gudaji Kazaure

 Hon. Muhammed Kazaure Gudaji, said the main problem of Nigeria is banditry who has been terrorizing the country and not Coronavirus.

Kazaure stated this during the House plenary, explaining that "bandits are our main threat in this country and not corona virus!! And it is an embarrassment for a state governor to negotiate with bandits to stop killing his people..."

Kazaure decried that if the same efforts put in the fight against Coronavirus is put to fight banditry, insecurity would have ended in Nigeria. 

He lamented that the people Coronavirus has killed since last three months is lesser than the people killed through banditry in a single day in Nigeria.

He added that Nigeria supposed to be shutdown for banditry and not Coronavirus, adding that the efforts of the government on welfare and infrastructures will be ruined if nothing is done urgently to solve the problem of insecurity in the country.

Hon Kazaure queried why government hasn't put in more efforts to fight banditry the way it has put efforts to fight Coronavirus.
