Zariagi, Zango-Daji, Pledge Support for Natasha
The people of Zariagi and Zango-Daji in Adavi local, Wednesday, pledged support for the senatorial candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP) for Kogi Central senatorial district, Barr. Natasha Akpoti.
The people came out in number to registered their support for the candidature of the first female senatorial candidate in Kogi Central senatorial district.
Speaking, Akpoti charged the people not to succumb to the threat and intimidation of desperate politicians who are hell bent on doing everything possible to thwart the will of the people.
She said, "there will be a lot of intimidation from now till election but remember whatever happens, don't reply them with violence.
"Don't be intimidated and let the vision in our hearts be more than the fear, let's come together to change our narrative, vote and stand to defend your votes", she said.
The SDP senatorial candidate reminded the people that there is only three more days to election, adding that all they asked for is peace to conduct free and fair election.
"In three days, I will want all of you to give me your votes, you will not see my face in the ballot paper, vote for my party logo to represent you in the senate.
"Ask questions when you see anything wrong, it's your constitutional rights to protect your votes.
"I am tired for seeing our youths with great talents without job, trust me with your votes and let's build our senatorial district together", she said.
