Ezekwesili Calls President Buhari, IGP to Investigate Attacks On Natasha Akpoti
The 2019 presidential candidate of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Obi Ezekwesili, has called on President Muhammad Buhari and Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu to investigate the allege attacks launch on the Kogi Central senatorial candidate of SDP, Barr. Natasha Akpoti.
The two time minister and erstwhile World Bank vice-president said, it is high time for the Nigeria police boss to swing into action and nip the issue on the board, adding that the police boss cannot keep ignoring the female senatorial candidate who has suffered undue persecution for the simple crime of exercising her constitutional rights.
She said president Buhari and the Inspector General of Police cannot ignore the cry of Natasha over the continuous attacks launched on her by Kogi APC.
Ezekwesili added that the attacks on Natasha is condemnable and her security must be given a priority by the federal government.
