Political Violence: Natasha Organizes Prayers For the Dead, Injured Victims
In her efforts to call for peace during and after the general elections, the senatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for Kogi Central, Barr. Natasha Akpoti, organised prayers for the dead and the injured victims in the political violence that has crippled the relative peace of the senatorial district in the last few months.
The prayers organised across the local government of the senatorial district started with Okene local government on Wednesday while Adavi and Okehi local government will be holding on Thursday and Friday respectively.
Prayers were offered for the dead, the injured and an end of the renewed political violence and peaceful election in the senatorial district.
Since the beginning of the political violence by alleged APC thugs in the last few months, supporter of Natasha Akpoti, Enesi Ojo, was killed, injured many others with properties worth millions of naira destroyed.
