Day After Buying President Buhari's Nomination Form, NCAN Pays Homage to Kogi

Barely 24 hours after Kogi State Government denied bankrolling the nomination form bought for President Muhammadu Buhari by the Nigeria Consolidation Ambassadors Network (NCAN), the Kogi State Chapter of the network paid a courtesy call on the Governor's aide on SDGs, Arc Andulmumeen Okara.

Recall that following a widely circulated allegation that Governor Yahaya Bello was behind the N45 million naira worth APC nomination form for the President, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Petra Akinti Onyegbule swiftly described the allegation as false, urging the people to disregard.

However, according to a report by Abdulrahim Omeiza Habib, media aide to the SDGs boss, the meeting with NCAN was to further deliberate on strategic plans towards returning President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.

"We have decided to pool our meagre resources and purchase the expression of interest and nomination forms for President Buhari as he presents himself to our party members to be chosen as its candidate for the 2019 general election. Our members from various villages, local governments and states have contributed to make this happen," Lead Director, Hon Shehu Yahaya stated.

On his part, Okara expressed delight and hailed the President and having taken Nigeria to a leadership role in the world.
