Okene II Assembly Race: Ogembe Picks Nomination Form, Promise Quality Representation

Aspirant vying to represent Okene II constituency at the state House of Assembly on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Sani Salawu Ogembe has promised quality representation for the people if given the mandate.



Ogembe while speaking with journalists after picking his nomination form at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Secretariat in Lokoja, the House of Assembly hopeful said he intend to do things different if given the opportunity.

The aspirant pointed out that as a way of alleviating the sufferings of his people, he will embark on aggressive youth and women development, saying that it is the only way  to give to the people the much needed dividends of democracy.

He said as a successful business man, he will bring to bear his business experience  on his job as a legislator, by encouraging small scale businesses among the women and youths in his area.

Describing his people as law abiding and hardworking people, Ogembe assured that he will never take them for granted if given the opportunity.

Ogembe assured that he will initiate bills and motion that will bring the presence of government to the area, saying that it is one of the surest way of ensuring accelerated development of his constituency.

He called on the people to maintain peace, before during and after the election, saying that crisis has not done the area any good, but has always brought untold hardship on the people.
Ogembe who said he is sure of picking his party’s ticket, called on the leadership of PDP to give a level playing field to all aspirants
