Three Suspected Kidnappers Arrested In Okene
Officials of Nigeria Police force, Kogi State Command has arrested three persons suspected to be kidnappers operating in Okene area of the state.
Addressing newsmen in Lokoja on Thursday, the Police Public Relations Officer of Kogi State Police Command, DSP William Aha, said the suspected kidnappers were arrested in Okene after they received distress call when they abducted a woman at Total area of Okene local government on 17th April.
The Police Public Relations Officer said the suspected kidnappers were on the run with their victim in a Nissan car with registration number Lagos CL 591 KTU when the operatives attached to Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, intercepted them and luck ran out of them whole driving towards a nearby community; Obangede in Okehi local government area.
He disclosed that the victim, Hadiza Seidu was rescued and arrested one of the kidnappers, Alabi Joseph.He added that further investigation has led to the arrest of other two suspects; Abdulwaheed Solomon and Bishop Eneji Cecil.
