US Coronavirus Death Toll Exceeds 50,000
The death toll of Coronavirus in United States of America has exceeded 50, 000 on Friday.
According to Aljazeera the World Health Organization, WHO and international patterns have accelerated work Covid-19 vaccine and treatment after the US death toll exceeds more than 50,000.
Speaking on the efforts made so far, WHO Chief, Tedros Adhanom Gherbreyesus said WHO is currently partnering with groups to accelerate ongoing work on drugs and a vaccine for Coronavirus.
According to WHO Chief, "the world needs these tools and needs them fast", adding that 3,332 new coronavirus deaths were reported in the United States of America in 24-hour period.
However, Aljazeera stated that the death toll is is one of the deadliest days since the outbreak began. The US death toll exceed 50,000 while confirmed cases in the country rise more than 870,000.
Since the outbreak of Coronavirus, over 190,000 people have died across the world with 2.7 million infected while 750, 000 people recovered.
