Having walked the long shoddy road of under representation at the legislature these past years since Senator AT Ahmed (of blessed memory) we cannot and should not walk the dark grumpy road of misrepresentation at the Senate in this age and time.
Not when we have a personality that is eminently prepared and deserving in Barr Natasha Hadiza Akpoti. Doing otherwise will be affirmative of the myopia of the hunter who has the Telescopic Gun but chooses his old "Bow and Arrow". This is the digital age of E-governance.
It's not about the Youths of the District alone - the choice of Barr Natasha transcends all class of interests in Kogi Central Senatorial District - be it the elite, urbane or rural class including the young or old.
We must not miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to rally around a rare Light Bearer that embodies our hopes and aspirations at the in-coming Parliament come 2019.
We must look out for the hidden thresholds of ambushes within the ranks of the old political war horses and diffuse their mines.
This Silver Horse must be allowed unfettered opportunity to fly our flag at the 9th Assembly come 2019.
