Chief Prekeme Kpodoh, former Security Adviser to Bayelsa State Government, has commended the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari for the success recorded in the ongoing anti-corruption campaign particularly the recent cases of recovered funds by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

This was made known while speaking with newsmen in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, on the recently recovered funds and the suspension of the SGF and the DG NIA, he noted that the funds have shown that the Buhari administration was out to restore sanity to the nation's democracy and the political class.

"The discoveries by EFCC is a confirmation of the worry expressed by the people. And it is a shame on the political class. Why were they stock piling money? Is it that they are afraid of poverty and want to be richer than the nation? The last six years was a shameful era in which the vault of the Central Bank of Nigeria was thrown open for the few to loot, while majority of the masses were left to suffer poverty, under development and joblessness.”He said
