FG Announces New Policy To Boost Tomato Production
The Nigerian government on Tuesday April 11, announced a new policy to boost the production of tomatoes across the country.
The minister of industry, trade and investment Okechukwu Enelamah disclosed this on Tuesday, in Abuja. The Minister said the new policy is in line with federal government's objective to boost production, improve the value and attract investment
According to Enelamah, the policy which was developed recently will be implemented in collaboration with the federal ministry of agriculture and rural development, the federal ministry of finance and federal ministry of water resources other agencies involved in the
implementation are the Central Bank of Nigeria, Bank of Industry and the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control.
