Why Kogi Gov Didn't Retain 8 Commissioner

Following the swearing in ceremony of the new commissioners in Kogi State, eight were relieved by the governor because of their performances while
Governor Yahaya Bello stated that the commissioners he retained are worth of second chance in his administration.



Gocerrnor Yahaya Bello who has spent 3 days into his second term administration forwarded the names of the commissioner designate immediately after his inauguration on Monday and were sworn in on Wednesday at the Glass House, a segment of Kogi State Government House, Lokoja.

The eight commissioners that were replaced included, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Bolanle Amupitan, Youths and Sports, Sani Ogu Salisu, Works and Housing, Engr. Sadiq Abdulmumin, Agriculture, Oloruntoba Kehinde, Education, Rosemary Osikoya, Transportation, Mohammed Awwal, Environment, San us I Usman Yahaya, and the commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Jacob Tolorunleke Sunday.
