Ladies and gentlemen, I have come to join the people of kogi state to congratulate *His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh Yahaya Bello. Our political ideology may be differ but your emergence as the governor of Kogi state teaches everyone a lesson including you the governor and the rich across the land.
At this juncture I beseech everyone reading this congratulatory article to put on their thinking cap, and throw away their usual hypocritical message or post because I am wired up to give everyone back to back in good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. so be warn!
It not in the character of the ministry of celebration to look away from such an important event that demands the opinion of the oracle. our core purpose is to celebrate, encourage, lampoon, strengthen the weak and show the way things can be done better to change the narrative of our state and for this reason, I was born among you, for this purpose I came into the world to write and speak to our leaders, elders and youth, because it will be foolish and useless to blame them when you have not spoken to them.
Your excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello, and the entire team member who have in any way contributed to his return to lugard house congratulations. it is indeed a record-breaking victory, whichever way we may look at the exercise but I must confess that His Excellency is a man who has determined to see to the end of his ambition, so he deployed every strategy to see that today's celebration becomes a reality... I congratulate you all.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is one thing to return to power and another to use the power appropriately and for the benefit of the citizens regardless of their language, ethnicity, religion, and location.
Democracy did not suggest or instruct us to be bias in our post-electoral analysis, but to uphold the rule of law, justice, peace, and unity of the land by bringing to the people the dividend of democracy. I write to you because I want you to get it right at this time. But getting it right entails different strategies; different strategy entails different ideas; different ideas come with a different approach; and different approach with the right people in the right position gives us outstanding result. Good governance is not magic, it is not pedestal on trial by error strategy either. It's about looking and seeking knowledge, and advice from those who are gifted with the skills. You cannot continue using the same element that renders your first-time useless with their conductless and abusive lifestyle and expects a different result.
Your excellency, come with me let's reason together. Remember no matter our ideology and political belief we remain brothers and because they say blood is thicker than water I am here to unveil you the reason why different approaches of appointment must be considered if you truly desire to succeed yourself. Remember it is better for me to wish you well but most better and good for you to want to be well. So your success in this second term is solely rested and vested on the strength of your decision and the resilience of your willpower.

I consider it a pardonable blunder for a man to purchase his first car and handed over to a driver unknown to him, who ran the car carelessly, resulting to a crash. But it's foolishness to purchase another brand new car and still handover to the same careless driver just because he considers him being loyal... Think about this before readmitting those who you run your first term with because truth be told, many of them are not interested in good governance but their belly. While you are doing your best to leave a legacy they are on the other side doing the opposite to feed their personal interests and greed.
The quality of leadership expended in a decision is easily seen; poor decision poor society, poor society poor leadership, poor leadership poor institution and poor institution the society is open to all kinds and manners of crime, immorality, and corruption. On the other hand, no one will escape the implication of bad leader, not even you or me, not the rich or poor, not gender will escape it, we will all face the consequences of our decision because until the poor sleeps the rich keeps awake...Congratulations
No wonder Kofi Annan said and I quote "Extreme poverty anywhere is a threat to human security everywhere.” while still digesting and trying to recover from the wisdom of Kofi Annan, Aristotle, the Greek philosopher came with a heavy hammer and chisel to expose me to the reason for our insecurity in the land. He said and I quote “Poverty is the parent of revolution and crime.” I was on the floor rolling and with the insight and wisdom from these great philosophers Mahatma Gandhi, Indian Political and spiritual leaders unleash me with his wisdom. He said and I quote “Poverty is the worst form of violence.
Your Excellency from the wisdom of these great men, there is a need to put in place a policy that will address poverty which to me is the first AK47 to combat crime and immorally that seems to be rising in geometric progression in the state... Congratulations
The local government is the tool for the state to implement her policy, especially when saddled with men of great skills and good heart. See that you do not just choose personality based on loyalty. Consult, and scrutinize them well before given responsibility else you end up messing your good intention by wrong appointment.
Roll out your second term blueprint for the citizens to follow and see where they can contribute for the success of the state... for this is the beauty of democracy and good governance is everybody responsibility ...congratulation
Let all your team members and appointees print your key vision and paste them on their office wall to enable them to know it is not business as usual and is not about acquiring and accumulating wealth but making the society a better place for the common man to succeed while engaging their heads and hand. This is the time to roll up your sleeves and engage governance with the right mindset with the right people.
