Maryam Sanda To Die By Hanging For Killing Husband, Court Rules
Federal HigjbCourt sitting in Abuja, Monday, ruled that Maryam Wanda should be killed by hanging for killing her husband, Bilyaminu Haliru Bello.
In his ruling, Justice Yusuf Halilu, Maryam killed her husband in the night of November 18, 2017 in their home at Wuse II in Abuja, adding that Maryam failed to explain the death of her husband being the last person seen with him, and held further that she stabbed her with a knife.
According to the judge, It is not only unfortunate but also wicked, "you Maryam Sanda is guilty of murder of your husband, Bilyaminu Bello. You are hereby convicted as charged.”
Maryam thereby by shouted “Inna Llillahi wa inna illahi Rojihun” isn the courtroom when she heard her conviction.
