Garba Shehu Lashes Senator Abaribe, Says It's Foolish To Call For President Buhari's Resignation

The Official Spokesperson to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Garba She hu has lashed Senator, saying it is foolish for him to call for President Buhari's resignation.

Garba Shehu who made this known through his twitter handle said, Senator Abaribe's call on President Buhari to resign is foolish, asking on what basis.

Garba Shehu had twitted on Wednesday, "President Buhari to resign on what basis? Just because some characters think that President Buhari should resign, then they expect him to quit. That call does not represent the opinion of the country."

Garba Shehu went further to call Abaribe's as an pinion of an arm chair critic, "this is the opinion of an arm chair critic, known for making stray comments."

Shehu further stated that, if a leader like president Bubari needs to resign, there will be million of other Nigerians that will resign including Senator Abaribe when he said unlocked the door to enable the escape of traitorous and treasonable suspects.

He noted that Abaribe signed the bond for the court to release Nnamdi Kanu on bail, from which moment the suspect disappeared into the thin air.

"Senator Abaribe has failed repeated deadlines to return Kanu to the court for trial, yet he has the effrontery with which to accuse someone of failing to the bidding of the law.

"This is a man who should have replaced the suspects he failed to produce in the correctional facility.

"Abaribe’s party raped the nation and left it collapsing in 2015 and President Buhari is fixing things up all the years he is in office.

"President Buhari is working hard to keep Nigeria and Nigerians out of the harm terrorists have unleashed in the entire Sahel and Sub-Saharan Africa with the support of Nigerians and our foreign friends, he is going to finish off these terrorists. He alone can do it", he twitted.

However, different views have trailed Garba Shehu's public whip of Senator Abaribe with a twitter user identified as Amos Etu @AmosEtu Replied @GarShehu
and said,  " you have stated the the reasons why GMB should resign! If senator Abaribe signed for Nnamdi KANU to be bailed, and the said KANU disappeared, whose responsibility is it to secure the territory of Nigeria? Is it GMB's or Abaribe?

Another twitter user OMASORO ALI OVIE @OvieAli supported @GarShehu and said, "May God give the President the wisdom to lead this nation and guide him to do right always. There are challenges, no doubt, but we have made some progress from 2014 and yesterday assault against Boko Haram shows the valour of our military. The terrorists shall be wiped out."
