Ajaokuta Fed Const: Appeal Court Sacks APC Rep, Orders Rerun As PDP Aloysius Leads
The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja, on Monday, has sacked APC House Representative member from Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon. Muhammed Lawal Idris, and ordered for rerun election in twenty one polling units of Ajaokuta.
The court in its ruling cancelled the result of the polling units, an action that puts the Peoples Democratic Party Candidate, Aloysius Okino on the lead with over a thousand five hundred votes.
Recalled that the APC candidate had earlier won at the lower tribunal.
