Kogi Guber: Well Behaved Women Rarely Ever Make History - Former Miss Nigeria Feyi Sodipo

Natasha probably does not tick all the boxes as to what a "perfect woman" in our Nigerian society is.
Natasha Akpoti

In fact i can tell you for free that she is far from perfect. However, what Natasha is, is passionate about good governance. She is even more passionate about Kogi and its natural and human resources.  She is a visionary, one who goes above and beyond thinking up new solutions for Nigeria's many problems. She spearheaded a whole campaign to resuscitate the Ajaokuta steel company, completely self funded(crazy right?)

Is it a do or die affair, is she hungry? I'll have to answer yes and no. She doesn't need to be a politician, as a matter of fact she is a very successful business woman in her own right. She has own home and properties in the capital city.  She has never held a political office but has always been a philanthropist who is loved and highly respected in her community. Hungry for things to change, hungry for a better economy for Nigeria and a better life for the masses, yes that is  how she is.

The dirty tricks by the incumbent Governor who hasn't paid state workers over 10 months salaries are a mere distraction. It now appears that people are being bribed to prevent Natasha from running for Governor.

So many injustices in the system that makes it clear as to why Nigeria has never produced a female Governor in its almost  60 years across 36 states.  Being a woman in Nigeria is an extreme sport.  A lot of people are suggesting she quit, that it's not a do or die affair.  Well I think not.  Why should she be the one to quit?  History was never made by people who stayed in the box, or quitters.
Forge ahead Natasha.

Feyi Sodipo is a former Nigeria beauty queen, she won the 2011 Miss Nigeria beauty pageant
