RE: Natasha Akpoti, Please Stop This ‘Naked Dance’

Ordinarily, I should have ignored if the writer’s asseveration were true. But because, he has delineated it to a figment of imagination, judging from what is absolutely unfounded, as well as the capricious perspective he is asking the Lioness of our time to put an end to her struggle to liberate Kogi state from the enfant terrible in the Lugard House.

I have said it earlier, the breeding ethnicity within the political terrain is ludicrous. It’s uncalled for and perhaps, the brazing audacity that would tear Kogi state apart soon. If politics and political affiliations becomes enmeshed in self interest, the society bears the brunt. And to this end, I like to state unequivocally that I am totally against the narcissistic ambition resonating any agenda, be it Igala, Ebira, Okun or Jukun. Kogi is one, so is the inhabitants. And whichever interest or struggle to be recognized is that which takes cognizant of all sacrosanct to our collective existence as multi-ethnic society.

This is where Hussein got it wrong. As a matter of fact, raising question on Natasha’s resolution to defend justice in her fatherland shows a clear-cut effect of illusion.

His words; “However, your decision to shift attention from your disqualification and focus on how governor Yahaya Bello will be disqualified instead is surprising. Nigerians are confused, Kogites are perplexed and Anebira are to say the least shocked on your reason for refusing to fight your disqualification with the required vigour but rather turn around to fight governor Bello by seeking his disqualification”.

Mr Hussein Obaro, let’s imbibe the kind of truth that a bird will tell on behalf of a farmer. Are Nigerians truly confused about Natasha’s firmness to halt injustices? Are Kogites truly perplexed that Natasha is seeking legal actions against the unruly caprices of their governor? Only in your conscience will the right answers be found.

But the last time I checked, Nigerians are not happy with Yahaya Bello, and contrary to the self-styled article, they’ve called timelessly to express their displeasure about him. As a matter of fact, Kogites are been knocked for allowing Bello contest in the last primaries let alone manipulating his way in the entire process.

That is just a tip of iceberg. Not so long, the popular lawmaker, Senator Balla IBN Na’Allah representing Kebbi South senatorial districts (at a plenary this week) called Yahaya Bello a threat and disgrace to democracy.
An online poll was also conducted earlier by a popular publisher. Guess what Hussein, Yahaya Bello was voted as the worst governor in Nigeria. All these and more are on public dome. Yet, Hussein believed Nigerians are confused that Natasha decided to fight the pervasive injustices in her fatherland. Are you not been sarcastic?

Again, I don’t see any cogent fact that could attract genuine response, your article is otiosely laced in rants capable of reincarnating the palpable bigotry called ETHNICITY. And instead of wasting your ink and time, why don’t you scorn Yahaya Bello who naively misused that golden opportunity that Anebira never had for years? Don’t you think he deserved a trip to the exile after his tenure elapsed? To cap it all, he is campaigning on empty ground. There is no achievement to consolidate. Even the so called Rice mill he seems leveraged is not actually owned by Kogi state government, we only have 10% share of the proceed.

Fellow Kogites, for posterity sake, the recently built rice mill is not built by Bello’s government, it’s being built and co-owned by private individuals. Do your findings and prove me wrong.

As for Ohinoyi of Ebiraland that Hussein asked to wade in, the royal father is a man of integrity. Hussein knows, I know and Kogites know. He has demonstrated that severally, including when others were induced and shipped to Aso Rock.

And in case you seem not to tally with this, had it been the opportunity that Bello threw to the pigs was given to Natasha, today, Anebira would be walking in styles. Because you couldn’t have imagine how industrialized Kogi would be with Natasha Akpoti.

His Royal Highness knows, those of us fighting for a state that favors all knows, and the day you will throw aside the pestilence of sentiment that had perked your eyes, not only would you realize it, you will stone Yahaya Bello to death.

For now, let me confide that you have just make mockery of yourself an the interest of Anebira you seems representing. The sane mind in Ebiraland including the royal fathers know Bello has disdainfully disappointed them.

Back to the double registration saga, I hope you are aware that two INEC staff had been sacked. And Bello knows that such act contravenes the law. Yet, desperation lured him. Now my question is, should he be spared while others are relieved of their means of livelihood? Hussein please search your conscience for the answer. I just pray the judiciary uphold Natasha’s request and ban the disastrous Bello from holding public office for life.
God bless Kogi State.
