Kogi Deputy Governor, Others Gift Attah Igala Rolls Royce Phantom

The paramount ruler of the Igala tribe, HRM Michael Ameh Oboni II has received a gift of a royal white Rolls Royce Phantom from some of the Igala sons in political positions, led by the newly inaugurated Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief Edward Onoja.



The Senator representing the Kogi East senatorial district, Jibrin Isah Echocho and other members of the State and National Assemblies, as well as serving Commissioners in Kogi were announced to have contributed to the realization of the gesture.

According to Onoja, the gift was imperative in the bid to portray the class and status of the monarch in Nigeria.

Ahead of the November 16th Governorship election in Kogi State, Igala Sons in Governor Bello’s Government led by the 45year old Deputy Governor Of Kogi State, His Excellency Chief Edward Unekwuojo Onoja (CIK), Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho, APC members of the National and the State Assemblies from Kogi East, Hon. Commissioners and Special Advisers have gifted the traditional ruler with Royal White sparkling Rolls Royce Phantom.

“HRM Attah Igala as King Of the 9th Largest Ethnic Nationality in Nigeria in the face of the Igala nation and his appearance must show class,royalty and purity. We give thanks to Governor Yahaya Bello who lifted a lot of progressive minded and passionate leaders in just few years," he said.

In a separate remark, Senator Echocho noted that recent developments were a reflection of a new Igala land, fronting the unity of the kingdom.

He said: "This is the same way we jointly built The “Unyi Udama Amo ma Igala”( Igala Unity House) under the able leadership of His Excellency, Chief Edward Onoja and we are set to complete two guest houses at Ayingba- Dekina And Ankpa for the exclusive use of our royal father the Attah Igala. We are not Billionaires but united lovers of their kingdom.”
