#KogiDecides: Lokoja, Koton-Karfe Standstill for Natasha's Campaign
The capital of Kogi State, Lokoja and Koton Karfe local goverment, on Wednesday stoodstill as the campaign train of the governorahip candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP), Barr Natasha Akpotiand running mate Engir Khalid Adams took their campaign train to the two local government.
Unrelentlessly, the SDP candidates staged their campaign, canvassing for votes in the quest to achieve the party's pledge mantra tagged social justice that will usher in ideal governance to priotise the people's welfare, security, job opportunies for the aged, teeming youth and lay a foundational development for the future generation to build upon.
Natasha Akpoti and her running mate, Engr Khalid Adams steered the mamoth supporters from the palace of Ohimega of Koton-Karfe, HRH Alhaji Abdulrazaq Sanni Gambo where she received royal blessing before starting the campaign.
Speaking at the palace, Akpoti said as a mother she is pained by the poor condition of living of the people of Kogi State and the numerous opportunities waiting to be tapped to repositioning the state as the industrial hub of Nigeria.
Akpoti who lamented the lack of leadership vision to turn the fortunes of the state said, she will work to open seaport in the state capital, Lokoja and put the confluence of river Niger and river Benue into use.
In his response, the Ohimega of Koton-Karfe, HRH Alhaji Abdulrazaq Sanni said, Natasha has demonstrated her love for the people of Kogi State through her Ajaokuta steel revival, adding that the kingdom of Koton-Karfe has large iron ore deposit waiting to be unveiled and put into use.

Koton-Karfe, Natasha/Khalid campaign train moved to the venue of Lokoja rally where thousands of indigenes of Kogi state received her, pledged their unalloyed support and declared to votee for her.
"As a mother, i am pained by the poor condition of living of the people of Kogi State and the numerous opportunities waiting to be tapped to repositioning the state as the industrial hub of Nigeria.
"You have an opportunity choose the best leaders on November 16 for the next dor years, don't sell your votes", she said.
