Kogi Guber: Kogi East Agog For SDP's Natasha Campaign
The Kogi East stood agog for the campaign train of the candidate of Social Democratic (SDP), Barr Natasha Akpoti, Monday.
Akpoti flagged of her campaign at the ancient town of Igala land, where she took the campaign train to other parts of Kogi East.
Speaking, Akpoti said,
"am not here to make empty promises, I am here to change the narrative
"I am here to reach a social contract with you, we are not here as a regularly politicians as usual, we are here to make Kogi state the most industrialized state in Nigeria, to create an opportunities for entrepreneurship to thrive and be engaged.
"Most of you know how I fought for the revival of Ajaokuta steel, I did all that because I don't want our youth to indulge in criminals activities because they want to feed
"The richest black man in Africa makes his money from Kogi State, then why are we poor, with good leadership quality we don't have any reason to be poor.
"Forget about Igala agenda, OKun agenda and Ebira agenda, let's come together and build the Kogi of our dream", she said.
Highlight of the event includes, visit to the palace of Attah Igala, HRH, Dr Michael Ameh-Oboni II, Akpoti further took her campaign train to the palace of HRH Alhaji Isiyaka Alfa the Omachi Attah, Wali of Ampa before she ended her campaign in Dekina.
