BREAKING: Police arrest Senator Omo-Agege over disruption of senate plenary, steal of mace
The Nigerian police has arrested Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, who was accused of leading thugs to disrupt Senate plenary consequently stole Senate mace on Wednesday.
Confluence Reporters learnt that Omo-Agege was whisked away in a waiting police van.
A source who pleaded for anonymity said the street of the embattled senator cannot be unconnected with the action of his boys at the Senate Chamber.
"About 10 suspected thugs who came to the venue with the senator forced their entrance into the chamber
"Seconds later, the hoodlums ran out of the chamber with the mace causing pandemonium in the Senate", he said.
