KSU suspends protesting medical students, orders to vacate hostels
In a move to punish the protesting medical students, the Management of Kogi State University (KSU) Anyigba, has suspended the entire medical students for two weeks.
The suspension came following the Monday protest of non-accreditation of their faculty after five years which made the news headline in the national daily.
It will be recalled that the Vice-Chancellor of the University was said to be away when the students protesting students stormed the University Senate building.
The suspension was contained in an Internal Memorandum signed by the Deputy Registrar, Mr J.U. Amodu on Wednesday, directing the students to vacate their hostels before 6:00pm on Wednesday and proceed on a compulsory two-weeks break.
