In a statement signed by Achadu Dickson, Director Research and Documentation, the party said since the alleged fall of the governor in a market place, no letter has been transmitted, to warrant the disappearance of the governor out of the state for over a month.

“For now the ship of governance in the state which lacked direction under Gov Bello, has on its own entered reverse gear, with unpaid salaries to workers who have been cleared since January, while some others had not been paid in the last twenty four months.”

“The absence of Gov. Bello has opened up government activities to corruption and stealing, little wonder local government workers last week since the beginning of the year were only paid a paltry twenty Percent as their January salary.”

The PDP called on the State House of Assembly to begin an impeachment process on the governor, pointing out that as representatives of the people who are in the know of the current suffering of the people, saying that the Governor has faulted the constitution.

The PDP described the unknown whereabouts of the governor as worrisome, adding that the tax payers whose money is used in servicing the governor, deserve to know the whereabouts of the governor and how their resources are being spent.

According to Achadu, the PDP is poised to take over Lugard House in few months to come.
