Gov. Bello Marks Last Day of First Term In Office With Juma'at Prayers
Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Friday expressed gratitude to God for his mercy, and to the people of the state for their support throughout his four years’ term in office.
The governor stated this at the Government House Mosque Lokoja, where he observed Friday Juma’at prayers.
The governor said he was grateful to the people of Kogi State for their support and understanding for his administration in the past four years.
He assured the people of the state of more dividends of democracy while calling for continued support in his second term.
The Chief Imam of the Government House Mosque, Alhaji Musa Bashir Ohu said the second term of the Governor would herald more developments for the state, and urged the people to continue to pray for their leaders.
Gov Yahaya Bello will be sworn in as the fifth Executive Governor of Kogi State on Monday January 27, 2020.
