Kogi Governorship: Tribunal Orders Inspection Of Ballot Papers, Other Materials
The Kogi State Election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja has ordered the Peoples Democratic Party Candidate, Engr. Musa Wada to inspect the electoral materials used for the 16 November 2019 governorship election.
The inspection of materials would begin today with Okene LGA where the incumbent governor garnered 112,000.
The PDP candidate had challenged the outcome of the election, pointing out that the election was marred by irregularities, and outright writing of result.
The inspection of materials is to hold at the headquarters of the electoral body in the presence of the counsels and party agents.
Alh Yahaya Bello of the APC defeated his closest rival Engr Musa Wada of the PDP.
