Bizarre: Septuagenarian Man Allegedly Rapes 7-year-old Girl In Ihima Central Market
An Igbo trader in his early seventies simplify identified as Obichukwu has allegedly raped a Seven year old girl in Ihima Central Market, Oboroke in Okehi LGA of Kogi State.
The man was alleged to have raped the young girl in the last market three days ago when the girl was hawking groundnut.
According to an eye witness who wished not to be named disclosed that the elderly man who is selling shoe materials in the market called the girl and took her to an empty store in the market where the man was alleged to have committed the crime.
According to her, the man managed to escape the wrath of Ebira people in the market on Saturday.
Other traders in the market descended on the elderly man immediately they sighted him yesterday when he was trying to settle for the day's market.
The man, however, claimed that though he made a move to have sex with the poor girl but he hasn't started when the people in the market cut him.
Traders in the market who were pushing for jungle justice lamented that such thing cannot happen in Igboland and they will allow the person to go free, insulting the market leader, Alhaji Musa Onivehu for shielding the man.
