Ajanah Describes Kogi APC Primaries as Charade, Sham
The House of Representatives member representing Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency, and aspirant for Kogi Central senatorial district in the just concluded primary election, Honorable Muhammed Kabiru Ajanah has described the All Progressives Congress, APC, primaries as charade and sham to steal the people's mandate.
Ajanah who disclosed this in a press release by his media team decried that the party delegates were forced to assume that they don't know how to read nor write, just to prevent them from voting based on their personal conviction about a particular candidate, in essence, their right to freedom of choice was completely denied with effective and accountable representation threatened by those whom he said are hell-bent at imposing and annointing certain candidates against the will of the voting masses.
He lamented that he and some other co-aspirants and their teeming supporters were treated like foreigners in a party they helped to build, adding that one will imagine if there was going to be APC after the primaries and if their supports would be needed to win elections.
According to him, their lives were threatened to either withdraw from the race or leave the party, maintaining that as a core supporter and ardent follower of President Muhammadu Buhari, he will not succumb to such threat and intimidation but would rather remain in the party to work ascidously to see President Muhammadu Buhari emerge victorious come 2019.
"As we await the decision of the National Working Committee of our party on the various petitions submitted to them against the conduct of the despotic primaries, i urge you all to remain calm and resolute, and remain committed to the ideals of our party, APC. On my own part too, i shall not relent on my efforts to see that our people gets more dividends of democracy", he said.
