FCT Minister Advises Corp Members to be Ambassadors of Their Institutions

The minister of federal capital territory, Alhaji Muhammad Musa Bello, on Thursday advised the new members of National Youth Service Corps to be good ambassadors of their various institutions as they begin their one year compulsory service to the nation.


The minister who was represented by the acting Chairman, NYSC Governing Board,  Mr. Muhammad Idris at the Swearing in Ceremony of 2018 Batch C, Stream 1 orientation course in NYSC orientation camp, Kubwa Abuja, said as the tradition holds, corp members will be deployed to their Place of Primary Assignment, PPA, after their orientation course, advising the new corp members to be ambassadors of their various institutions as anything they do would either mar or promote the name of their Alma mater.

On the same vein, the Abuja state coordinator of NYSC, Mallam B.B. Balama has assured the securry of the corp memebers new deployed to the federal capital within their three weeks on the camp, as he said the welfare of the new corpers is his utmost priority.

The camp was thereafter officially declared open by the representative of the FCT minister , Mr. Muhammad Idris.

Highlight of the programme include, parade by corp members,  thug of war by Man O'war, and Oath of Allegiance by the new Corp members led by Chief Judge of Abuja High Court.
